Information on the scheme

The Commedia Millennium Awards is an initiative of the Community Media Association with funding from the Millennium Commission.

The Community Media Association (CMA) is the membership body for community media in the UK. It works to encourage the development of community-based media including radio, TV and the internet.

The Millennium Commission is one of the good causes which share 28p of every pound spent on the national lottery. Its role is to use lottery money to assist communities in marking the close of the second millennium and celebrating the third.
